May is Neurofibromatosis Awareness Month!

Did you know that neurofibromatosis affects one in every 2,500 births, yet most people are unaware of it? We like to call it "the most common disorder you have never heard of."

We can change that! This year, we're asking you to help us spread the word and raise awareness for neurofibromatosis by joining our #ConnectingNF campaign! Our goal is to spread the word “neurofibromatosis” across social media so that it is known in every household.

Here are six ways you can help!

1.  Our goal is to connect with even more NF families and individuals around the world. This reminds us that we are all on this NF journey together.  Join us by spreading NF awareness by using the hashtag #ConnectingNF on social media, we want to hear YOUR NF story and what spreading NF awareness means to you!

2.  Help the NF Network create awareness by sharing the posts from the NF Network Facebook page, Instagram, or (twitter) X pages or Download the images below and share them to your social media account. Use the hashtags #ConnectingNF and #NFNetwork 

3. We are sharing the beautiful stories that have been created by children who are participating in the SketchNF program.

5. If you live in the Chicagoland area, sign up for the Ducky Dash. If you are out of the area, do a virtual run or "adopt a duck" AKA runner/walker.
