‘Princess Diaries’ Star Heather Matarazzo Is Engaged to Heather Turman
We’re still waiting for more news about Princess Diaries 3, but in the meantime, one of the original film’s stars has something else to celebrate. Heather Matarazzo just revealed that she’s engaged to her love, Heather Turman.
“We kept this to ourselves for a few days, but on 1-11, I asked…..and she said yes. To death and back, I love you, Turman,” the actress wrote on Instagram.
Alongside the sweet note, Matarazzo shared a series of photos of the two sitting together on a small piece of driftwood on the beach. Each of the pics shows a moment from the proposal, from Turman’s emotional reaction to their sweet kiss after she accepts.
She captioned the images with a quote from The Alchemist: “There is only that moment, and the incredible certainty that everything under the sun has been written by one hand only. It is the hand that evokes love, and creates a twin soul for every person in the world. Without such love, ones dreams would have no meaning.”
The Welcome to the Dollhouse star also hopped onto Twitter to let her fans in on the exciting news with another perfect quote, this time from When Harry Met Sally: “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”
Matarazzo starred in both the first and second Princess Diaries films as Princess Mia’s bestie, Lilly Moscovitz. She has also appeared in Saved! (along with fellow Princess Diaries actress Mandy Moore), as well as on Grey’s Anatomy, Law & Order, and The L Word.
