OK, well, not really, but bear with me. So last night I was catching up on some YouTube watching when I got stuck in a Real Time with Bill Maher loop. I was totally engrossed in an episode from a week or so ago featuring Salman Rushdie, Rob Thomas and Janeane Garofalo when, in a discussion about whether women would start wars, Garofalo name-checked Wired favorite Brian K. Vaughan's graphic novel series Y: The Last Man. What?! I had to rewind to make sure I heard right. I did. Just when I thought *24'*s new star couldn't get cooler. I checked Vaughan's site to see if anyone had told him about the awesome plug. Apparently, everyone did. And then it got even more awesome. He writes:

"In the off-chance that Ms. Garofalo reads this, that was beyond cool and totally made my week. If you ever want free comics swag, a complimentary Lost action figure, a role in the Y movie, etc., I hope you'll drop me a line: BrianKVaughan@aol.com"

A role in the Y movie? Am I the only one who thinks this would be the most genius casting ever? Apparently not, my Underwire cohort Erik Malinowski attests that there are a few roles that Garofalo, who's looking nothing if not bad-ass lately, would be great for. Who knows if he was serious, or if she'll ever heed his call, but could someone's people please call someone's people? The clip in question is below (the Y mention is about five minutes in) and a transcript from the show is here. In the meantime, dear readers, are there any parts you would love to see Garofalo play?
