BE AWARE!

BE AWARE!!! One of the biggest crooks I have meat in the auto sales industry. They were trying to make extra money through financing, trying to do tax/licensing, etc... Just to be able to squeeze in extra fees. When I told them that I am buying cash and the car is going to be transported out of state and registered out of state, they told me that I have to use their own transport, again so they can make money off of it. I told them that I want to use a transport company that I know, to which they responded with an ultimatum. They said either we use our own transport or we charge you California Tax and licensing. When I told them that's illegal, I am going to get my attorney involved, the salesman just hung up on me.

Stopped by Mazda this morning with my brother to purchase a CX-5. Going to a car dealership is always a harrowing experience, but Johnny Koo walked us through the process seamlessly and painlessly. From test drive to closing, Johnny made us feel comfortable and confident about every aspect of the purchase—skipping all the stereotypical car salesman BS. His service alone would be enough for me to switch from any other brand to Mazda.

I was just going to look at several cars last night.

I was just going to look at several cars last night. Stopped at a couple of dealers at the auto mall and stated I was just looking and needed a little information. After several hours at one dealership where I was asked several times what they could do to get me into the car I left. They had an MSRP sticker price and then a handwritten price for $10K higher which I didn't understand. I was going to leave but I passed the Roseville Mazada and saw that they had a midsized SUV. I had no idea they made one!! My last new car purchase was in 1988 when I bought a station wagon from Mazada on Riverside in Roseville. It was such an amazing experience. I had the car for 20 years and 300,000 miles. I didn't think I would ever be able to buy a new Mazada but then I pulled on to the lot at the Roseville Automall. Josh greeted me and my friend (we were heading in the wrong direction). He was so kind and laid back. Asked if he could help then directed me to the SUV's. I looked at 3 then saw the beautiful blue and asked to see that one. He asked if I wanted to take a test drive then handed me the keys. OMG he let us go by ourselves. (At the other dealership we had a salesman ride along) I knew as soon as I pulled off the lot I was in love! When we got back, I asked him what can I do to get into this car? Josh, Wynette, and Scott immediately went into action (I was given $4500 for my trade-in which was exactly what I was hoping to get) and for the first time in 34years I am driving a new Mazada. It is the same amazing smooth ride I remember from my wagon. The folks that helped me stayed past closing and made sure everything was taken care of before I drove off the lot!! What an extremely wonderful buying experience! My friend is going back for a used car as soon as she can. I can't thank Roseville Mazada enough for my fantastic new car!! I had an extremely awful experience at Mazda of Roseville and will never buy a vehicle from this location, nor recommend anyone either. I went in on Saturday to buy a new vehicle (2021 CX30) and was extremely disappointed with the quality of services, professionalism, and runaround I experienced in the four days of attempting to buy a vehicle from that location. I walked in with a 721 credit score, great income, proof of residency, and I was trading in a 2019 Ford Fusion. I did not expect to encounter four long days of lack of transparency and waiting to purchase a vehicle, given that I met all of the requirement (as always) to leave with a new vehicle. I recently changed my name (for good cause) and according to management, that was the “hold-up” to getting approved with Mazda Financial Saturday-Monday. I was told on Monday after work to come back as there should be no problem to finally get approved. I went in after work, waited three hours in hopes to get approved, and at 7:30 at night, Marco sat down and told me Mazda made an error in the last three days and no later than 12PM on Tuesday I should receive and answer—it felt promising. There were a few “hold-ups” throughout which intuitively seemed appropriate, but the waiting period seemed like something I’ve never experienced before buying a car. First they couldn’t verify my identity with my name change. I have them my updated social security card, updated drivers license, proof of residency, and pay stub with my name change. Then the negative balance from how much they were willing to buy my 2019 Ford Fusion and payoff amount was another issue. They kept requesting the I increase my down payment from 1,000 to 3,000, to 4,000 dollars. On Tuesday (yesterday) I never received a call: I went ahead and called Mazda myself and Max seemed confused and had no answers for me. He then called me back and said I need to pay $4,000 up front. I was saddened by this—more so because I felt taken advantage of (29-year-old female) does not know much about trading in cars, was given then runaround for four days, lack of transparency, and lack of flexibility, especially given my strong credit score, income, 2019 Ford Fusion, not high mileage either. I called Mazda of Elk Grove yesterday after work and explained my story to them and Khahn told me to come to the store right away and they will take care of me. I went in and immediately felt a sense of comfort, as him and Grant showed empathy toward my situation. I was in and out within an hour and a half and they held the standard of quality of service. Grant told me he would buy my car for a little more and would “massage” the number to ensure I left with the car I wanted on Saturday. I was approved with the same credit score of a 721. I did not need to show my social security card, proof of residency, or anything that verifies my new name change. The finance department was friendly and he explained my monthly payment very well. He was professional and also empathetic toward my experience at Mazda of Roseville. Additionally, my Mazda was detailed, gas was filled, and delivered promptly. I hold so much gratitude for the gentlemen who served me last night. Thank you for your quality of service. For your empathy, compassion, and unwavering kindness. Kinsley Titchener

Five stars for Tony Sanchez. Friendly, helpful and checked in with us during our testing and buying process. Thank you Tony!!! Five stars for no pressure buying! Roseville will haggle if you do your homework. They were honest and never tried to trick us. While bouncing dealer discounts around they did try to match other dealership's offers for prices that were previously too steep for them. No fault there, it's how they make their $$$. Three stars for the Dealership overall due to other staff blowing us off when we made the effort to minimize our impact on their time. The laziness was frustrating. Five stars for their Service Department! They've been timely and honest.

I worked with Max Cuadras from Mazda Roseville to purchase a vehicle. Max made the buying process exceptionally transparent and straightforward since the very first phone call I had with him. He helped me move extremely fast by giving a quote that no other dealership could beat. We drove for 4 hours to buy from Mazda Roseville, and they willingly stayed open for more than an hour after the closing time to assist with the complete buying process. Max sent us all the steps that could be completed online in advance which made the buying process extremely simple and fast! The dealership did not try to sell us any extra unnecessary stuff to raise the price. Overall, I had a wonderful buying experience and everyone at the dealership was extremely professional and friendly - special shoutout to Max and Christy! Absolutely would recommend buying from here even if it means driving from a distance!!!

Great experience.

Great experience. Nathan Stewart handled the purchase process. He made himself available at my convenience. I didn't feel pressured to make a decision. He was extremely knowledgable, patient and thorough. Finance process went smoothly also. Jordan was also a pleasure to talk with and made sure Nathan wasadvised of my interest.

Very pleasurable car buying experience. We went in with a model in mind, found another more desirable. Salesman was very friendly, and personable, with very good knowledge about products. No pressure, and willing to negotiate price. Only annoying part occurred after sale, and paperwork; had to do with fueling up the car. The cards used were not functioning properly; however our salesman used his personal funds to insure we left with a full tank. I put this on management, but overall our experience was very positive. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We would recommend Mazda Roseville to anyone; not to mention the product is excellent.

Salesman Chris Alaman was excellent to work with and the dealership was happy to take my all cash money. The service department is ridiculous, my brand new CX90 had a hybrid battery issue at 18,000 miles and the vehicle had multiple recalls and they said they would have my vehicle for several weeks waiting for a new battery. They gave my wife a 5 seater and didn’t have an equivalent CX90 to give me as a loaner. I have a large family and bought an eight seater for a reason. I had to make multiple complaints to the dealership to get an equivalent CX90. The service department is unprofessional and extremely rude. When I picked up my CX90 after several weeks someone had vandalized the windshield with multiple key scratches. Unbelievable, pretty shocking frankly. I told the manager they are good at selling cars but absolutely terrible at customer service and told him I would be filing a formal complaint with Mazda corporate in regards to the vandalism. Crazy that I’m even writing this. The only level headed professional I delt with at the dealership was Wynette. Jason as the general manager was rude and unprofessional and Bobby the service manager was next level rude. I won’t ever be back and do not recommend Mazda of Roseville sorry to say. The sales experience was 5 star but I wish there was a no star option for the way their staff treated our family.
