History of Formula1 Races in the United States

F1 racing has been gaining popularity in the United States over the years. However, there was a period between 2008 and 2011 when no races were held in the country. In 2012, F1 made a comeback in the U.S. with the United States Grand Prix held at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Recently, in 2022, F1 returned to Florida at the Miami International Autodrome for the second time. The previous Grand Prix in the state was held at Sebring in 1959, but Ferrari did not participate in that race. In 2023, after a gap of four decades, Formula One finally made its comeback in Las Vegas. The last time F1 racing was held in the city was in 1983, and since then, the fans have been eagerly awaiting its return.
