Fans are voicing their concern for Heather Matarazzo – best known for her role as Lilly Moscovitz in The Princess Diaries – after she tweeted a series of worrying messages, one of which said she is "done struggling to survive".

In the first tweet, which was posted at 12:33am but has since been deleted, Heather said: "I have hit my limit with life today. I have hit my limit with whatever games the universe is playing. I am done. I am tired. I truly feel at a fucking loss." In a follow up tweet, that has also been deleted, she added, "I just need a win. A life-changing win. Cause this ain't it. Fuck."

In another now-deleted message [per E!], the 39-year-old said, "I've given my life to acting for over 30 years, and am done struggling just to survive."

In her last tweet, which remains on her Twitter timeline, the actor further elaborated on her situation, explaining that her difficulty to find acting work as of late has taken a toll on her mental health. "I feel at a loss because I feel I have done THE WORK, for a long time, with no complaint," she wrote. "I have taken the disappointments, the rejections, etc., and maintained that rejection is redirection. I have had continual FAITH in the universe, but today, something broke."

Her emotional tweets sparked immediate concern from fans who urged her to reach out for help as well as sending their well wishes to the star. "Hold on Heather. Keep venting, sharing how you feel. It's healthy and will help. A win is waiting. You'll get there. Reach out whenever you feel like letting go. You're a badass who has risen before and will rise again," tweeted one fan, with another saying: "I know the feeling. Life is seasonal even if it feels like you’ve been in the same season for way too long. Don’t give up."

A third fan replied: "Feel better, sweet girl…. We’ve all been there, I know I have more than I can remember, but we gotta keep fighting… Show the universe you’re stronger than it! I’ve looked up to you since I was a little kid... I KNOW you got this!!!"

We're sending positive thoughts to Heather and hope she's getting the support she needs.
