Netflix If you're in need of a teen drama series that has a bit more mystery and action to it, then we can't recommend Outer Banks enough.
The three season show is available on Netflix and is set in North Carolina and follows the adventures of John B and his friends, nicknamed 'The Pogues' as they try and find out what happened to John B's dad.

3Ginny and Georgia
Courtesy of Netflix Often compared to the 00s classic Gilmore Girls, Ginny and Georgia follows the lives of a young mum Georgia and her teenage daughter Ginny.
Unlike the Gilmore Girls however, Ginny and Georgia deals with deeper subject matter and complex issues, such as self-harm, abusive relationships and depression.
But at its heart the series is a dramaedy and often you will find yourself howling at the TV and then crying two minutes later. It's a complicated show, but we're obsessed.

4XO, Kitty
Netflix A spin-off of the Netflix film series To All The Boys I Loved Before, XO Kitty follows Lara Jean's younger sister Kitty (Anna Cathcart) as she follows her heart and moves to South Korea where she expects to continue her long distance relationship with Dae.
However, when she arrives in South Korea, she realises things are a little bit more complicated.

5Dawson's Creek
Getty Images It's a classic for a reason, and if you haven't seen it yet then you need to be binge-watching Dawson's Creek.
Set in the fictional town of Capeside, Massachusetts, Dawson's Creek follows a group of close knit friends played by an iconic cast of Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams, James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson.
Expect lots of New England scenery and teenage heartbreak.

7Heartstopper

Netflix The iconic Netflix series returned its fourth and final season this autumn, so it's the perfect time for a rewatch.

Amazon Prime If you're a fan of Yellowjackets, this will be right up your alley. The Wilds on Prime Video sees a group of teenage girls left stranded on a desert island after a plane crash on their way to a young women's empowerment retreat. One thing they don't know however, is that they're actually part of a social experiment.
We get flashbacks to their lives before the crash and in the second season, a group of boys are sent onto the island, sure to shake things up.
