Tran Manh Kien wil represent Vietnam to compete at Manhunt International

The Vinh Phuc native stands at 1.86 metres tall and measures 108-79-100.

He has previous experience competing in beauty pageants having taken part in Mister Vietnam 2019, although he ultimately failed to win the highest title.

The Manhunt Contest originally started in 1987, when Alex Liu, pageant director of Metromedia Singapore, decided to stage the first male model contest in Singapore, as at the time there were numerous pageants for women but none for men. Liu consequently planned and engineered the first Manhunt contest in Singapore, with Manhunt developing into Manhunt International in 1993.

Vietnam initially began participating in Manhunt International in 2002, with supermodel Binh Minh representing the country. Model Quang Hoa also represented Vietnam at the contest in 2006, whilst 2007 saw Ngo Tien Doan win the Best Body title. Elsewhere, in 2008 Nguyen Van Thinh came second in the online poll.

Most notably, Vietnamese representative Ngoc Tinh was crowned Mister Manhunt International 2017 and also won the Face of The Year, Mr Internet Popularity, and Best Fashion Model awards.

In 2018, Mai Tuan Anh was awarded the fourth runner-up title.

This year, the beauty pageant is scheduled to take place in the Philippines in October.
