The Russian Air Force received the first batch of Su-35 multi-role fighters in 2024.

Rostec announced this on its official website.

The fighters were built at the Komsomolsk-na-Amur Aircraft Plant, which is part of the United Aircraft Corporation.

Their construction takes place within the framework of the state defense order, which has been carried out by the United Aircraft Corporation since 2019.

This batch was the first in 2024 and consists of two Su-35 fighters that have passed the relevant factory tests to confirm reliability and declared flight characteristics.

The Komsomolsk-na-Amur Aircraft Plant has a high workload with contracts until 2028.

Currently, the plant produces Su-35S and Su-57 fighters and plans to increase the production of new aircraft.

The company is also implementing a plan to hire up to 800 new workers to assemble combat aircraft by the end of 2024.

Since the beginning of 2024, some ROSTEC companies have been increasing their staff.

This is primarily due to the announced increase in the production of combat aircraft that Russia is losing in the skies over Ukraine.

Militarnyi previously reported that on April 5, 2024, the Russian Aerospace Forces had received the first batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers in 2024.

The plant’s capacity allows it to deliver two aircraft of this type once a quarter, which partially replaces the lost aircraft that are actively used in the war against Ukraine.
