Finding light for Basket Plant in your home
Callisia Fragrans may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Callisia Fragrans in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Callisia Fragrans
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Callisia Fragrans after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

What is going on? Recently there have been some droplets showing up on the edges of a shoot’s leaves, the bottom leaves of the mother plant have been yellowing and falling off and on one of it’s leaves has a weird almost translucent area. I got the plant from a friend so I don’t know how old it is and if it might just be the end of it’s lifespan. It also has some browning on the edges. I included some pictures if that helps. Is it dying? And if it is should I propagate the shoots? #BasketPlant #NotSoHappyPlants #idontknowwhattodo

Is this plant getting sick? #BasketPlant

Is this fungal? I’m new to the app and not sure if a “post” is different from “question.” And I can’t find my post. So are these dots fungal?

What other plant parents say
I was given this plant when I purchased another plant online, and it seems to be growing decent, but I killed one of its babies somehow. Now its growing another one, so it’s got that going for it. Needs a wider pot so it can spread. I had it in a 2 inch pot. Switched to 6 inch. 😅 I like it though.
